Our very own Studio Number One designers will be having their original art on view at Power to the Parks, the upcoming week-long fundraising group exhibition to benefit the National Parks Conservation Association, in collaboration with Parks Project.

Introducing Ian Stoufer - Studio Number One’s Art Director

Q. Where are you from?

A. Colorado!

Q. What’s your favorite part of working at SNO?

A. The people. I get to work with friends so it doesn’t always feel like a job.

Q. How would you describe your art practice?

A. Undisciplined.

Q. What do you like to listen to while you’re working?

A. Recently Girl Band, The Field, Perel, Thom Yorke, CFCF, Fort Romeau, Huerco S., Bright Channel.

Q. What inspired your artwork for the show?

A, The climate crisis, environmental domination and its correlation to gender and racial oppression, magical mushrooms, and glib refrigerator magnets.

Q. Do you have a favorite national park?

A. Sequoia. I’m a sucker for big trees.
