There's Nothing Chill About Climate Change

The climate crisis is an emergency and the youth are doing something about it.

Between Sept. 20 - 27, people in over 150 countries will be stepping up to support the global climate strike to show world leaders they demand climate justice. Companies are also taking a stand by stopping e-commerce sales on their sites and stores and having their employees take the time out to partake in the Strike, such as Lush, Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s, and our very own Obey Giant and Obey Clothing online stores.

Studio Number One had an incredible time participating in the Global Climate Strike in Los Angeles. It was amazing to see our community and our youth gather together to take a stand in something we believe in.

There’s still time to make a change! The Global Climate Strike is happening until September 27th. Be sure to also check out globalclimatestrike.net to find an organized march in your city. Download FREE protest art here to show your support for the global climate strike online or print the poster to take with you to any of the planned strikes!

You can also support digitally! Raise awareness on social media with hashtags #ClimateStrike and #GlobalClimateStrike. More online resources at digital.globalclimatestrike.net!

Please take a stand for our planet and fight the climate crisis today and every day.

Women's Rights Are Under Attack

Abortion is a reproductive right and a woman’s right, both of which are HUMAN RIGHTS that are under attack. There has been a rise in extreme anti-abortion legislation across the country, including major bans recently passed in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Ohio. Nearly one in four women in the United States will have an abortion by age 45. Taking away these rights by banning access to a legal and safe abortion not only disrespects the fundamental right a woman has to make decisions about her own body, but also puts women in severe danger all around the world.

In addition to supporting and donating to nationwide organizations such as Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and the ACLU, we’ve provided other helpful resources below that all have information about how we can fight back against extreme abortion bans in these states, donate to local reproductive-rights organizations, and volunteer to support the people impacted by this.

It’s also important to make your voice heard! You can spread the message and show support for women’s rights with free art by Studio Number One here.
